After the death of Lee Alexander McQueen, there's seemingly been a never-ending series of McQueen and McQ online sales. The latest one's today on Gilt—this satin hummingbird print trapeze dress is $1,299 (marked down from $4,185). Gilt is pegging their huge collection of McQueen overstock as "sure to become collectors’ items." Sure, the stock of McQueen-McQueens must be dwindling, but there still seems to be an abundant backlog of garments that never sold. Are you buying McQueen as collectors' items? [Gilt]
