Way below ground level at the Hudson Hotel Good Units event space last night, VMan celebrated its new Scandinavian-themed issue with a fashion showcase straight from Copenhagen, Denmark and live performances by Cookie and Scandic rock band New Politics.
The twins-themed runway show featured the designs of Bjørg Jewellery, Bruuns Bazaar, Cheap Monday, David Andersen for Kopenhagen Studio, Day Birger et Mikkelsen, Georg Jensen, Henrik Vibskov, Hummel, Moonspoon Saloon, Oscar Magnuson, Shamballa Jewels, Soulland, Stærk, Stine Goya, Tiger of Sweden, and Vilsbøl de Arce. Models approached from stage left and swapped midway through—Anna van Ravenstein strode into the centerstage partition and emerged, on the other side, as her mother, legendary model Pat Cleveland, in the same look on the other side.
Hosted by editorial director Stephen Gan, party guests included Magnus Berger, Klaus Biesenbach, Hamish Bowles, Richard Chai, Anne Christensen, Phillip Crangi, Cecilia Dean, Honey Dijon, Rene Fris, Prabal Gurung, Sasha Knezevic, Phillip Lim, Johan Lindeberg. Sessilee Lopez, Henrik Lundgvist, Maggie Rizer, OH Land, Kelly Rowland, Anja Rubik, Tom Sachs, Hedi Simane, Casey Spooner, Camilla Staerk, Ellen Von Unwerth, Alek Wek, Nicola Formichetti and Italo Zucchelli.
