The Mets' third baseman David Wright has just inked a multi-year deal to be the face of Mission Skincare, a sports-inspired beauty brand. The company has also signed a deal with Major League Baseball to create co-branded products with baseball teams.

Wright is one of about 17 Mission spokespersons: other names on the company's payroll include Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns, golfer Sergio Garcia, soccer player Mia Hamm, skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, and ultimate fighter Georges St-Pierre. Wright has previously appeared in Vitamin Water ads (see above) with The Situation from MTV's Jersey Shore.

New baseball-branded products coming this summer include Mission Skincare's SPF lip balms and face sticks emblazoned with logos of teams including the New York Yankees, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Mets, and the Boston Red Sox.
