Brioni has appointed Alessandro Dell'Acqua to the post of women's wear creative director. Dell'Acqua's first collection, for pre-spring, will be shown in Milan this June. "Our goal is to grow our women's business," Andrea Perrone, CEO of Brioni, told WWD. "Alessandro is an Italian designer in tune with our brand, with a deep knowledge of product, quality and production. At the same time, he is used to working with other important international companies and has a global vision." [WWD]
