With all the brouhaha over Jean Paul Gaultier leaving Hermes and Lacoste's Christophe Lemaire taking the reins, there's been paltry little discussion over what will happen at the venerable house of Lacoste—one of France's most important sportswear labels. Well, today the company has confirmed that Lemaire will, indeed, be leaving by "mutual agreement" and that his position should be filled by the end of the year. Lemaire has been with Lacoste since 2000 and will remain with the brand through its September show in New York. [WWD]
