Will Derek Zoolander's adoring public be forced to "eugooglize" Zoolander 2 before it's even made? It kind of looks like it. After Paramount canceled Anchorman 2, Ben Stiller Twittered:
Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels. Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks.Industry tongues are wagging that Paramount, which was also slated to back Z2, has run into financial troubles and sources say that the company would willingly go ahead with production if the budget for Z2 could come in at under $40 million. The first Zoolander film was made for under $30 million and grossed over $45 million domestically.
