Last night, Patrick Robinson, Gap's executive vice president of global design, co-chaired The Costume Institute's gala benefit with Oprah Winfrey and Anna Wintour. The Gap is a sponsor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute exhibit.

For the fashion ball, the Gap partnered with designers Alexander Wang, Rodarte, Sophie Theallet, and Thakoon to create eight gowns for celebrity attendees. These gowns will be available for auction beginning tomorrow (more details on that later, watch this space!). The proceeds from the auction will go to benefit The Costume Institute.

Here are the celebs and their dresses: Kirsten Dunst and Jamie Bochert wore Rodarte for Gap; Jessica Alba and Vera Farmiga wore Sophie Theallet for Gap; Kerry Washington and Riley Keogh wore Thakoon for Gap; and M.I.A. and Zoe Kravitz wore Alexander Wang for Gap.
