You know how some nights, when you can't sleep, you just want to go buy something? Well, this bear had the same idea.
Police spotted a 400-pound black bear on the roof of the Viewmont Mall in Scranton, Pennsylvania, early this morning. The male bear appears to have climbed up a fence after rummaging around in the mall trash looking for food around 2 a.m.
Game commission officers climbed up after him, tranquilized the animal, and used a forklift to bring him back to ground level. The bear will be released onto state game lands.
