Transformers star and all around lad-mag hottie Megan Fox is official-ish off the market. The 24-year old is engaged (again, long story) to be hitched to longtime boyfriend Brian Austin Green. Green proposed on a beach in Hawaii on June 1, and onlookers say that Fox got so excited, she dropped the two-carat diamond ring in the sand.

The proposal was a beachy affair in Hawaii. A thrilled Fox was reportedly hopping up and down and actually lost her engagement ring, a witness tells the magazine. "Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand."

The ring was a 2-carat diamond Fox and Green chose together in Beverly Hills. "Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it," another source tells Us Weekly. "No one found it."

No word yet on whether the ring has been recovered.
