Hot on the heels of its collaboration with Jil Sander and Costello Tagliapietra, Uniqlo's new Velvet collection will hit stores tomorrow. Excitement or no? Our sister site Racked NY makes good points: "Will New Yorkers want harem pants that remind them of Point Dume if they don't even know where Point Dume is? Also, while the Costello Tagliapietra line earned early buzz because was a bit of a departure for Uniqlo, the Velvet collection focuses on basics—traditionally the Japanese fast-fashion brand's wheelhouse, and much less exciting."
