Inside the Home of Diamond Star Halo Vintage's Libby Callaway

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We have it on good authority (i.e. via Stacey Bendet herself) that the Alice & Olivia traveling team orchestrated a major photoshoot yesterday at East Nashville's Diamond Star Halo store—one of the city's best cool-girl wardrobe go-to vintage shops—and subsequently bought tons of gorgeous vintage clothes to take home with them.

Diamond Star Halo Vintage proprietor (and style guru) Libby Callaway grew up in Tennessee, and spent years as the fashion editor at the New York Post and an agony-aunt fashion columnist at Glamour. Since moving back to Nashville, her amazingly curated collection and stylings have been featured in Nylon, on the backs of major country music stars, in Paramore music videos, and in major motion pictures.

Now, it just so happens that we know Libby from her New York days (years), so we popped by her amazing new home to see how a world-traveling styling and vintage maven lives, and asked to snap some pictures. Check out Libby's new Nashville homebase—in all its glamorous glory.
