Leiper's Fork, Tennessee, is the small town American dreams are made of—an idyllic community of artists and musicians situated about a 45-minute drive outside of Nashville. There's one main drag where a handful of chic organic grocers, art, antique, and craft shops line the sides of the road.
While in town, Racked popped into Serenite Maison, which is owned by Alex Cirimelli, a San Francisco transplant who, in addition to curating her spectacular home store, works on private homes all over the country—she just completed a 3,600 square foot apartment interiors installation in Manhattan's Chelsea.
Serenite is filled with antique furniture and fixtures, perfumes and decorative items, and a gorgeous collection of jewelry—we're obsessed with the karibeth necklaces that feature hidden pocket-knives. Concealed weapons in gorgeous, handcrafted antique jewelry? Ladies, welcome to Tennessee.
