Blue&Cream's Private Label is like the New York answer to LA's obsession with luxe casualwear—all super-soft sweatshirts, gold-embossed slouchy sweatpants, and trendy and comfy print cotton tees.
The latest offering from the store's own coffers is this super-cute line of Lamptons Loungewear—and, no, "Lamptons" is not a typo. According to store sources (who are much more up on trendy verbage than we are, apparently), "Lamping" is Jay-Z's term for "Lounging in the Hamptons,"—that east end playground of the super-fabulous. Thus, Lamptons—a tribute to Blue & Cream's second location—the flagship is on the Bowery in Manhattan's East Village, and they have a second location in East Hampton.
Pick up some Lamptons gear for between $50 and $200 at Blue&Cream in-store or online and you can be in on the joke too. Celebs who are already major fans of the store include Reese Witherspoon, Rachel Bilson, Cameron Diaz, and, the master of everything Lamp, Jay-Z.
