Goodbye Vogue

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

On a personal note, one of our favorite, nicest, and best people we know in the industry, Patrick O'Connell, has decided to leave his post as Vogue's director of communications after 12 years. "It's been an incredible 12 years at the top of the game, and an experience I wouldn't trade for the world," he told WWD. "It's just simply time for a personal change." O'Connell will be moving into community relations, development work, and the field of corporate philanthropy. Congratulations to Patrick! [WWD]
