Lori Goldstein's Spending July Fourth Celebrating and Shopping

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Introducing Racked National's first celebrity guest blogger: Lori Goldstein. One of the most iconic fashion stylists of our time, Lori is also one of the most sought-after creative visionaries in the industry.

She's worked with celebrities including Madonna, Demi Moore, Julianne Moore, and Anne Hathaway, has held the position of Contributing Editor at Italian Vogue and Allure, and has worked as a creative consultant for brands including Vera Wang, Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera, BCBG, and TSE. Lori currently has a featured fashion line with QVC called Logo Instant Chic.

Hotdogs, Fireworks and Online Shopping

Lori: Now, if you're like me, just because you're celebrating America's Independence doesn't mean you can't do a bit of shopping as well. I mean, our founding fathers meant the freedom to shop, right? And what better place to shop, but by the pool! Here are some of my favorite sites for some online retail therapy.

Net-a-Porter: I mean come on, Natalie Massenet's online emporium of all things fashion is an online must. It's every major designer...it's everything.

Luisa Via Roma: With a sharp Italian eye, Luisa has it all—from intimates to outerwear. The site is great for finding new, hard to find designers usually reserved only for Europe.

La Garconne: Give me everything, s'il vous plait. This chic boutique feels like France with the coolest designer merchandise...n'est pas?

Opening Ceremony: Speaking of cool, the online outlet of the original New York store is the place to learn who's next, up-and-coming and the ones to watch.

John Eshaya: T-shirt obsession alert—you know I have one. John Eshaya has the great Tom Binns collaboration right now.

QVC: Home of Logo Instant Chic and so much more.

eBay: The online original...you can't do an online listing without eBay! Collectors beware, I'll outbid you if I have to.

I wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July, and happy shopping.

xx,
Lori
