Helmut Lang's "Three" Sculpture Repatriated to Acne London

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

"Three," the Helmut Lang sculpture that previously adorned the floor of the designer's SoHo store, has been bought by Acne and will be repatriated to the Swedish retailer's new London flagship, scheduled to open July 15th. Since leaving the world of fashion, Lang has busied himself with sculpture. He will exhibit in a group show this September in Los Angeles and is scheduled for a solo show in Vienna this year.
