Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Gracing the pages of the Cameron Diaz-fronted August Harper's Bazaar is the always controversial Kelly Killoren Bensimon, late of Real Housewives of New York City infamy. In the issue, the recent Playboy model and gummy candy aficionado treats us to a plethora of signature headscratcher quotes, such as, “I tell my girls, ‘Your mom gets paid to engage in inappropriate behavior.’ It’s an amazing opportunity for them to see that being mean is not okay. I tell them, ‘If you’re in a situation like this, walk out. Don’t come back with jelly beans.’” Hmm....and if you asked her to describe herself in a few words? “I am not crazy. I am unpredictable,” and probably much to the disappointment of fellow Housewives castmates (and Andy Cohen), “I’m not in therapy.” Hey, she looks like she's in great shape though. Guess those runs down Fifth Avenue traffic are really working for her.
