Ralph Lauren, who grew up in the Bronx and sold ties to department stores, made $27.7 million in the fiscal year ending 2010, says WWD. He also picked up $857.1 million from the "conversion and sales of some of his Class B voting shares" in June (we don't know what that means either, but $857.1 million is a lot of money). Forbes magazine estimates that Lauren is worth $4.6 billion. [WWD]
