It's Friday, and we're in England this week while still working on Eastern Time, which means all our mornings are free for shopping, hurrah! Today we headed to now-living-legendary wildly-inexpensive fast-fashion emporium Primark to have a nose around, and boy are we glad we did. We picked up this fine-gauge cotton sweater (above) for a snip—£5, about $7.50—and a couple of other things too (after the jump).
For anyone who hasn't been to a Primark, the only way to explain it is that it's like a gigantic Target-type store, but just for clothes, shoes, and accessories. Oh, and much, much cheaper. Why Primark hasn't come over to the USA yet, we'll never know, but if you're ever in Ireland, the UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, or The Netherlands, definitely check it out, especially if you're a fast fashion connoisseur.
We couldn't believe this party dress—made of a soft, rich cotton and lined with mesh and tulle, the whole she-bang—was really £5 (about $7.50). But it was.
These satin flats have soft, flexible rubber soles and came in two, count 'em, two shades of animal! So we had to have them both. Especially since they were only £4 per pair—a whopping $6.
