Halle Berry—she who is beset with beauty so confounding that she's always talking about how directors tell her she's "too pretty" to be cast in movies (boo-hoo)—is gracing the cover of Vogue's September issue. She is, it seems, the first woman of color of have a solo September Vogue cover since 1989. Also, Berry has been cast in a fashion film called "Shoe Addicts Anonymous," which is based on a novel by Beth Harbison about four women in Chicago who are all the same shoe size (7.5) and are all obsessed with shoes. So far, Berry is the only one of the four women cast. The movie is being produced by Russell Nuce and Mark Bozek. Bozek used to be the president and CEO of HSN and launched hsn.com back in the day. Before HSN? He was VP of broadcasting at QVC. This is a dude who knows about shopping. We're excited to see what develops. [WWD]
