Gatwick Fashion Week: Airport to Feature Both Kinds of Runways

First it was Paris, New York, Milan, and London. Now everyone—including Miami, Boston, Portland, Berlin, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Los Angeles—has one. What are we talking about? Fashion week, of course.

Now, guess who wants to get in on the game? Airports. Seriously.

Gatwick Airport in England has just announced that model Lily Cole will help launch the first Gatwick Fashion Week next Thursday, August 5. The four-day event will comprise a modeling competition—with male and female winners scoring a contract with London agency Storm—catwalk shows, and personal appearances and styling sessions with celebrity stylists.
