The first of Brooks Brothers' new Fleece stores is set to open tomorrow in Westport, Connecticut—two more are slated for later this year in Kansas City, Missouri, and Madison Avenue in New York City. The 700 square foot Main Street store is situated a couple of doors down from Brooks Brothers' main shop in town.
Fleece was created by guest designer Nikki Kule and is a mix of sporty and formalwear for children—girls can look for tops, bottoms, knits, dresses, and outerwear ranging in price from under-$50 to $198 and the boys collection will feature a smart selection of button-down shirts, suits, fleece pieces, and rugby shirts in sizes 4 to 20.
"I envisioned Fleece to address every aspect of kids' active lives today," Kule says. "I want them to feel like they can count on Brooks Brothers for everything they need from a plaid party dress to a sporty sweatshirt for soccer practice."
