The Chelsea Football Club in England have just signed on Dolce & Gabbana to design its formalwear and directors' lounge in West London. Pretty swank, no? "We are really happy about this partnership and to be able to link our name to such a prestigious club like Chelsea," Domenico Dolce and Stefano said. "Football players are style icons both on and off the pitch, and, on top of this, there is our love of England and of London, which has always been a source of inspiration for our work." Dolce & Gabbana most recently designed the formalwear for the Italian national team at the world cup. Chelsea players are set to debut the new looks on August 14, at their first premier league game. The team was previously dressed by Giorgio Armani. [WWD]
