Malandrino for Lacoste

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Hot on the heels of Lacoste's fervent denials that Catherine Malandrino would be taking over for dearly departed creative director Christophe Lemaire (he's going to head up Hermes), the crocodile brand has announced a collaboration with Malandrino to create a women's capsule collection that's both romantic and sporty. The new collection will land in stores next spring. In the meantime, Malandrino will be summering and designing the collection at her new seasonal home in St. Tropez. [WWD]
