Joining the ranks of designers including Liz Claiborne and Charlotte Ronson in the aisles of JC Penney next week will be Spanish retailer MNG by Mango. The diffusion label will arrive at 77 JCP locations nationwide as well as online.
"This is the biggest rollout of a fast-fashion concept in the world," Liz Sweney, Penney's executive vice president, told WWD.
"It's like boy-meets-girl. It's effortless," said Lorraine Hitch, JCP's general merchandise manager of footwear and handbags. "There are great layering pieces and it's really versatile."
