Forever 21s are taking over the world—at least, in the United States. Our (tenuous) proof? Not only has the teen-tween megastore taken over the humungo spaces formerly occupied by Virgin Megastore in both New York's Times Square and San Francisco's Union Square, but now the OC Register is reporting there are rumors that Forever 21 will be taking over the 94,000 square foot Saks Fifth Avenue at the Shops at Mission Viejo. The company recently signed deals to take over a former Sears space at South Coast Plaza and to open another mega-store at Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos, California.
