It's not just American Apparel that enforces strict good-looking-people-only rules when it comes to hiring sales associates. If you're not cute, don't even think of applying for a job at Abercrombie & Fitch or grown-up spin-off Ruehl.
Check out the district manager's note (above) left with some employees. It says:
We must always audit our schedule to assure we have the best looking & best styled associates working at all times. There is no reason we accept excuses for who we are hiring.· Abercrombie does not employ uglies, of course [Gawker]
