Four years ago, seven people dressed up as zombies protested a Minneapolis shopping mall for promoting the culture of excessive consumer consumption. The police report at the time stated that the, uh, zombie shoppers were carrying sound equipment (an iPod) that sounded like "weapons of mass destruction." Check out four of the zombie mugshots here. The protesting undead were jailed for two days, but never charged with any crime. This week a judge in Minneapolis awarded the zombie gang $165,000 after it was determined that the police had no probable cause for the arrest. [USA Today]
