Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Our sister site Racked NY has assembled a handy list of ten stores that aren't in New York, but should be. This is for anyone who's ever bemoaned the shopping options in their neck of the woods—New Yorkers don't have access to Primark, Vivienne Westwood, Hot Topic, or Roots, stores that denizens of other cities may or may not take for granted. Personally, we'd like to see some more European High Street shops in Manhattan—give us a Miss Selfridge, Marks & Spencer, and Jack Wills and we'll be just fine. [RNY]
