Wow, and we thought the Barneys Warehouse Sale was cutthroat. Out in Sonora, California, last Friday, 70-year old Jon Joslin was arrested after he clobbered 64-year old Joseph Brown with a five-pound cast iron cornbread pan—all to prevent the younger man from getting into a yard sale first. According to investigators, the two men arrived early and, while walking up the driveway, Joslin had already tried to trip Brown. Joslin was arrested on "suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon."
