Juicy Statement

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A spokesperson for Juicy Couture contacted us to follow up on our report from WWD on the death of Juicy. "Juicy Couture, contrary to your post, is alive and well in hundreds of top department stores around the country and worldwide as well as in our own Juicy Couture stores. At Juicy Couture, we found the best way to give our consumers what they want was if we could choose what to offer and where to offer it. That is why, since early 2009, we have put more emphasis on our own stores and our e-commerce site (re-launching Sept 15), where we have more control over brand image and assortment." Check out the entire statement here. [Racked Inbox]
