Monocle Opens in NYC

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Guess what NYC just got? Its very first Monocle store—a retail concept based on the Tyler Brule-slash-Monocole-magazine lifestyle. Our sister site Racked NY reports: "The store, which follows Monocle boutiques in London, LA, Tokyo, and Hong King, carries clothing, bags, and various lifestyle goods for the world traveler, including pieces from the magazine's collabs with Oliver Spencer, Tomorrowland, and Ettinger and of course plenty of copies of back issues of Monocle."
