The folks over at Copyranter found this ad, above, from Diana, a Chinese lingerie company whose slogan is: "Feel the romance of British royalty." Oh, also the company invokes the image of the late Princess Diana in its ads. No biggie, right?
But seriously, folks, is this weird or is it just us. One, she's dead, and we're not sure how we feel about exploiting the likenesses of dead people to push product. And two, she's royalty, so something about exposing a likeness of Diana in a bra and underwear feels inappropriate, don't you think? We don't know about you, but seeing dead royals in lingerie isn't really our idea of compelling advertising.
