Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Looks like the writing gene runs in the family—sort of. Victoria Traina, the daughter of novelist Danielle Steele, has joined the Proenza Schouler as a consultant—a social media consultant, it seems. Originally slated to help the team out with a capsule collection, the much-photographed social took over the brand's Twitter account this morning. Since she started, she's been twitpic-ing fittings and model castings in the showroom.
