Paris in Spring 2011 for Nine West

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Everyone's all collab-happy these days, especially Nine West which recently released its Joss Stone collaboration for the fall. (For those questioning that pairing, Nine West creative director Fred Allard assures us that "she does wear shoes.") Allard also dropped this little tidbit that for Spring 2011, Nine West will be presenting a new "fashion-forward" capsule collab with a young European designer. After we tried and failed at playing detective to extract a name, Allard gave us the teaser that the line will bring a "freshness to Spring 2011" and "a little breeze of Paris in a very hot summer." Back in 2006, the brand collaborated with up-and-coming (and now very here) designer Thakoon, so the company's not messing around. The concise collection will feature just three shoe styles, two bags, and one necklace. So who could it be? H&M has Lanvin and Christian Louboutin isn't exactly young. Raphael Young? We're open to guesses. [Racked Wire]
