'Round these parts, Reem Acra is best known for her stunning eveningwear and brilliant luxury bridal—but soon, to the rest of America, she'll be best known for her HSN line.WWD reports: "Her new collection for HSN, called Reem, will make its debut Sept. 22 and 23 during a series of live segments filmed during the finale of HSN's Fall Fashion Series Presented by Elle. Acra, who is known for her elaborate and expensive eveningwear, knew the HSN crowd was not her typical customer. She did her homework: 'I watched HSN night after night for more than a month,' she said. 'I would come to work very tired because I watched too much HSN.' The result is all daywear ($39-$299) with 'a touch of beading, but more comfortable, for entertaining at home.'" [WWD]
