Kim Jones is out at Dunhill, where he's been the creative director for over two years.WWD reports: "Dunhill hired Jones, whose background was in edgy, streetwise sportswear, to increase the fashion quotient. Jones created a younger image for the brand with updated tailoring while stressing the travel aspect of its heritage. Dunhill as a brand has logged double-digit volume increases worldwide over the past four years. "Kim has made a valuable contribution to the creative development of Alfred Dunhill over the past two-and-a-half years," said Christopher Colfer, chief executive officer of Alfred Dunhill. “His collections have been both commercial and greatly appreciated, and therefore we are sorry to see him go. But his departure is in line with the original planning and strategy for the brand." [WWD]
