Patrik Ervell & His Models: Really Into Business News & Analysis

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Either that or—like whatsherface from that hideous book and even more-hideous movie Confessions of a ShopaholicPatrik Ervell just loves a pink newspaper. Especially a crazy mass of them. Check out the gallery above for images of the runway at Patrik's showsentation at Milk Studios—it's constructed entirely from stacks and stacks of bundled copies of the Financial Times. It looked pretty awesome—but could you imagine this set up in a womenswear show? McQueen armadillo shoes or some crazy-assed, spike-encrusted Rodarte pumps with nine-inch heels? Mayhem; disaster; and/or something we totally wouldn't mind being in the audience for.
