Cynthia Rowley Band-Aids: Instant Cure For Fashion Week Fatigue

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Cynthia Rowley Spring 2011 runway show on Saturday boasted a mix of fans, industry types and celebs like Alan Cumming (with some crazy windblown bedhead), Rebecca Romjin (looking hot in an updo and sexy electric blue mini-dress), Lauren Bush and Waris Ahluwalia—all gathered to watch the 35 whimsically playful and cabochon-happy looks. Also in attendance were a bunch of the most well-dressed children we've ever seen; which made the gifts even that much more appropriate—each seat had a pouch containing a box of the decorative Cynthia Rowley Band-Aids. Alan Cumming busted into his box even before the show and adorned a couple of his fingers (even his, uh, choice digit) in the sequin ones. We almost want to give ourselves a paper-cut so we can wear ours.
