It's called baby food because it's for, you know, babies.

The baby food diet burst onto the fashion scene years ago after a Telegraph story in the UK claimed that super-slim then-Dior-designer Hedi Slimane maintains his weight by only eating baby food.. Well, looks like the diet has made its way from Paris to Los Angeles, because a quick search online for "baby food diet" and "celebrities" yields a whole lotta boldface names.
