Duckie Brown's Stop Animation Avatars: Ridiculous or Hilarious?

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Uh, probably both. The video above—featuring a stop animation, stick figure introduction to Stephen Cox and Daniel Silver of Duckie Brown—was art-directed by Eddy Chai and Paul Birardi, the founders of one of New York's most-celebrated menswear shops, Odin. The purpose? To attached faces to the names behind three seasons and counting of those Florsheim by Duckie Brown shoes that we already totally love. And, they need to screen something at that new Florsheim multi-line pop-up in SoHo. Enjoy!
