Alec Baldwin vs. Jack Donaghy

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last night Alec Baldwin co-hosted a party to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ermenegildo Zegna and our sister site Racked NY was on the scene, armed with hard-hitting questions. Well, okay, one hard-hitting question: "The actor, who was looking quite dapper in his own grey suit, told us that not only is he a fan of Zegna, but he also likes the wardrobe that 30 Rock's (and Saturday Night Live's) talented costume designer, Tom Broecker, chooses for his Jack Donaghy character. When we asked, "Who usually dresses better, Alec or Jack?" Baldwin responded without hesitation, "Oh my character!" (We assume he was leaving all his Zegna pieces out of that equation.)" [RNY]
