JC Penney will open three more stores next year—in Dallas; Glenarden, Maryland; and Daly City, California. "The retailer also said it renovated 76 stores, mostly in California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, New York and Texas. The renovations include adding a 1,500-square-foot Sephora selling a variety of cosmetics in each store... J.C. Penney plans to spend $160 million updating still other stores, including adding mini-stores for MNG by Mango clothes and Call it Spring shoes by Aldo." [BusinessWeek]
