Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon Designs a Clothing Line With Sportmax

As part of its ongoing Carte Blanche collaboration project, womenswear label Sportmax has tapped Sonic Youth frontwoman Kim Gordon to create a capsule collection of printed T-shirts and soft, easy-to-wear dresses.

"I sketched some simple shapes that I thought would be conducive to the abstract images," Gordon told Dazed. "My work in visual art is somewhat performative and inspired by that. I like the idea of being a conjurer or charlatan, that’s sort of what rock musicians are ultimately, in the best way."
