First Reviews are In

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The first show reviews of the season are already up on Style.com—featuring the stylings of Organic by John Patrick, Sachin + Babi, and Willow. For spring, Patrick showed clothes imbued with "an irresistible Sunday-best specialness." Sweet and soft also seemed to be the words of the day at Sachin + Babi: "Handkerchief-hem dresses, strapless rompers, and matching "public" pj sets came in printed silks evocative of the soft, sun-washed colors the designers discovered on a family trip to Siena." And over at Willow, things have gotten distinctly "less flashy" this season, though there is a "wild zebra's mohawk" somewhere in the collection, so, well, everything's relative, right? [Style.com]
