Is this the dawn of a new era in fashion advertising? Over on her blog, photographer and fashion illustrator Garance Dore points out that the new Chloe and Valentino campaigns feature two supermodels—Malgosia and Freja—omg smiling! "After years of pouting being thought of as the height of sexy, or even worse, the total non-expression," Dore writes, "it makes me so happy to see some of my favorite brands loosen up a bit."
