The folks over at Burberry have done it again—created an ad campaign and video, above, that makes us desperately wish we were young and carefree, in possession of artfully tousled hair, and frolicking around England wearing Burberry Prorsum trench coats.
The company also announced that Burberry's upcoming fall 2011 show—set to take place in Milan on Saturday, January 15th—will, immediately post-show, allow online viewers to purchase directly from the runway. "Immediately after the show, visitors to the site will be able to pre-order outerwear and bags from the collection using instant messaging functionality to receive immediate product information and place an order," says the release. The new feature is called "Click to Chat" and allows viewers to immediately connect with a Burberry salesperson. Orders placed will be delivered within two months—beating out retail shipments of autumn 2011 merchandise by four months. Talk about instant gratification.
