Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson's father has inked a deal with French perfume company Julian Rouas Paris—who also make a golf-themed scent called "Swing" (that comes in a little golf bag)—to create men's and women's fragrances called Jackson's Tribute and Jackson's Legend. According to a report on MSN, the scents are inspired by "plants grown at the late King of Pop's Neverland ranch"—though we're not entirely sure what those plants are, specifically. The perfumes are set to arrive in stores this March. [MSN]
