Has Kim Jones Been Signed to Head Up Louis Vuitton Men's Line?

New, 2 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Bright and early this morning, JC Report's Jason Campbell tweeted this "Exclusive"—news that designer Kim Jones has been appointed head of Louis Vuitton's men's division. We haven't found anyone other report about this and it has not yet been confirmed or denied by Vuitton HQ.

Jones is a graduate of the MA Fashion program at London's Central Saint Martin's and launched his own eponymous label not long after completing the degree in 2002. In 2008, Jones was appointed creative director of Dunhill, where he worked until September 2010. Jones has an ongoing collaboration with sportswear label Umbro, designing apparel and footwear.
