Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Fashion Group International's 14th annual Rising Star Awards were presented this afternoon at New York's Cipriani 42nd Street. Hosted by Conde Nast Digital Editorial Director Jamie Pallot and featuring keynote speaker Norma Kamali, this year's winners were awarded Movado-made trophies—just like this one.

We sat at the Rent the Runway table with founders Jennifer Fleiss and Jennifer Hyman—their site allows women to rent designer clothes and accessories, commitment-free!—and were so excited when they won. That's their trophy, above.

Other winners include: Marc Marmel for accessories; Siddharth Shah of Givaudan Fragrances for corporate beauty and fragrance; Harold Zimmerman of Votre Vu for beauty-fragrance entrepreneur; Betty Lou Moscot of Blu Betty Lou Moscot or fine jewelry; Koray Duman and Laith Sayigh of Sayigh + Duman for home-interior design; Loris Diran for men's apparel; and a tie between Fabiola Arias and Bradley Scott for women's apparel.
